A teacher by training, Jenny grew weary of how flawed education policy and insufficient resources impacted her ability to teach children and teach them well. When her friend decided to run for Board of Education, Jenny was all in and quickly learned how to manage a campaign, run social media, navigate dicey political situations, and ultimately come out the other side victorious. She’s worked in education advocacy alongside talented organizers and learned that the ability to organize 20-something third graders into learning their times tables is not that different from organizing adults around issues of injustice in our schools.

A mom of 3, Jenny is dedicated to building a better world for her kids, and enjoys using her background in education to campaign for better schools.
